Insurance CSR

The
CSR is responsible for customer service and sales of insurance products to
existing and new clients. A CSR supports the agents by handling details
and performing administrative tasks related to insurance sales. Our
successful candidate is a team-player with basic sales and customer service
experience; excellent phone and face-to-face communication; a penchant for
detail and organization; and a knack for multi-tasking, juggling priorities and
problem-solving. As you learn each phase of the business, the
financial rewards will increase.
Job
Responsibilities:
·
Develop
agency relationship with existing clients
·
Actively
solicit expiration dates from new clients and assist with service of existing
accounts
·
Underwrite,
rate and properly place new lines of business
·
Keep
agent informed of new account activity.
·
Maintain
timely and accurate client records, keep updated at all times and generate
reports as required by Supervisor or other agency staff
·
Handle
inbound and initiate outbound telephone calls to new and existing clients.
·
Other
related activities as assigned
Qualifications:
·
Must
be highly organized, detail-oriented, able to maintain a disciplined daily
calendar and task list in a multi-tasking environment.
·
Must
be bondable and have clean driving record, background check required
·
Competency
with computers and office equipment, familiarity with MS-Office and Internet
·
Full-time
position requires work in office M-F, Day hours
·
Insurance PC License is a plus!
·
Must
enjoy phone and face-to-face communication with people
